Welcome to the Pacific Breeze Winery web site. Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our winery that we hope make it easier for you to do business with us  

Frank Gregus and Maurice Hamilton are the owners, founders and visionary behind Pacific Breeze Winery. Their desire to make world-class wines in the Greater Vancouver, area started twenty years ago as amateur home winemakers. Their passion led them to opening a commercial winery in 2005.
 
The wine is made from the finest grape each appellation has to offer…harvested at their peak: crushed, pressed and obsessed over for weeks on end at their “Urban Garage Winery” to make hand-crafted wines that are “BIG, BOLD & POWERFUL”

The winemaking team is overseen by Dan Jones and Don Kellett. This dynamic pair has been responsible for creating wines that have won over 40 international medals including 3 “BEST OF CLASS HONORS”: 2005 Syrah, 2006 GSM & 2006 aCURE eSTATE Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.

 
The winemaking philosophy is that wine begins with great land and careful viticulture, that the winemaker should use minimal handling and interference in the process and that wine should have a sense of region and be an expression of the soil in which it is grown.

We offer a “Premier Wine Club” featuring International Award Winning wines.

 

Our mission is to provide new releases, limited productions and futures of our highly acclaimed wines to our wine club members “first” before they are officially released to the public.

We offer private events as well as a variety of wine and food pairing events throughout the year.

They only made 275 cases of this world-beater, but I happen to know there's still some left at the New Westminster-based "garage winery" (it redefines the term) in the shadow of the QueensboroughBridge. Pacific Breeze opened quietly here some months ago, and immediately went on to win international awards. For me, it's been one of the major discoveries of the year. B.C.

Local Winery Wins Double Gold in San Francisco International Wine

Pacific Breeze Winery from New Westminster, B.C. had a remarkable showing in the prestigious San Francisco International Wine Competition, held June 15th & 16th. Their 2005 Syrah was awarded the Double Gold Medal and their 2005 Chardonnay received the Bronze Medal.

The accolades don't stop there.  At the Tasters Guild International Wine
Competition this past April in Michigan, the 2005 Syrah received the Gold
Medal and the 2005 Chardonnay, the Silver Medal.
