The First Wine Release of 2010

We want to highlight the first release of 2010 on January 30 & 31 with the 2007 Killer Cab & 2007 GSM.
We will be open Noon - 6:00 on Saturday January 30th & Noon - 5:00 on Sunday January 31st.

2007 Killer CabKiller Cab  

This "BIG, BOLD, POWERFUL" wine exhibit aromas that explode out of the glass: blackberry cobbler baked with cinnamon sticks. The rich concentrated black cherry & blackberry combination fills your palette, ending with hints of clove, cinnamon and cedar. The long lingering finish is dominated with fruit and oak toast. The tannins are fine grained, smooth and mouth coating, providing the structure and balance that sets this wine apart. There is an alluring savory edge to the wine that adds another appeal to every mouthful encouraging you to refill.

2007 GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre)

If the French tasted this blind, they'd claim it was theirs.

This BIG & BOLD wine was aged for 18 months in French oak combines the spicy flavours of Grenache with the opulent fruit of Syrah and the firm structure of Mourvedre. Spicy fruit with hints of pepper feature on the aroma of this wine. Its elegant, complex perfume of peppery black currant and cherry fruit, with hints of licorice, earth, spice and meaty aromas is followed by a complex, elegant yet substantial red wine to consume over the next 5-6 years. European in style, it will embrace food as it has attractive fruit & acid balance in the mouth. If you are looking for a BIG RED BBQ wine, look no further!
